Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic testing, repair of diesel engines, and servicing heavy industrial equipment, trailers, backhoes, generators, and welders. You will play a critical role in maintaining the performance and safety of our customers' equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing and repair on diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions, suspensions, and brake systems.
- Service and repair heavy industrial equipment, trailers, backhoes, generators, welders, and more.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of customer’s equipment.
- Use welding and cutting torch equipment as needed (preferred but not required).
- Accurately input and retrieve data using diagnostic computer systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Trade School or Certification preferred).
- Valid state-issued driver’s license (Class A CDL license preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (automotive repair experience counts).
- EPA 609 Certification preferred
- ASE certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to climb ladders, walk or stand for extended periods, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must own tools and a lockable toolbox applicable to the position.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.
- Experience working in all weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Welding and cutting torch experience.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
